Due to the considerable increase in performance, namely torque which can be achieved through performance upgrades you may go beyond the torque capacity of the OE clutch setup, causing the clutch to slip.

At Regal Autosport we have developed a single mass 240mm upgrade flywheel, specific for the Corsa VXR, which upgrades from the stock 215mm diameter dual mass flywheel. Even though our flywheel is larger, stronger and more reliable than the stock flywheel, the mass is greatly reduced by 55% compared to the stock flywheel. For maximum clutch performance the billet material was carefully chosen, a flat and true surface on the flywheel for maximum performance and smooth engagement. All topped off with balancing to minute tolerances. 

As with our RSS Stage 2 and 3 clutch module the kits both include lower mass over stock. Reducing parasitic losses (increasing torque and horsepower) at a constant rate (as the revs climb, the losses grow at an exponential rate). Due to the greatly reduced losses and a lower moment mass of inertia these kits allow for maximum acceleration of the engine (faster revving, higher response, more power and torque) as well as shorter shift times alongside sportier shifts. 

The clutch kit consists of our RSS Sprung Organic Centre Plate which allows for smooth engagement of the clutch, similar to an OE feel with a higher torque capacity. The clutch cover is a Genuine GM Astra VXR Cover Plate which was chosen due to its OE reliability and higher torque capacity. 

Specific to the RSS Stage 2 Clutch Module the kit includes RSS 240mm Conversion Single Mass Lightweight Flywheel, RSS Sprung Organic Centre Plate, GM Cover Plate, GM Flywheel to Crank Bolts & GM Release Bearing. Everything you need to upgrade your clutch module!

(please take note, when converting from the original dual mass flywheel to a single mass performance alternative, some vibration often termed as "chatter" can be felt at low RPM also at idle in neutral)

What are the delivery methods and charges for UK, Europe and Rest of World (ROW)?


Regal Autosport uses a variety of shipping services to give the best combination of value, service and speed to our customers. This will vary on location, value of the time and size to name a few.


Regal Autosport may drop-ship directly from the manufacturer to the customer if the product is a non-stock item and this provides the best value and service. If this is the case, the delivery method may be different.


Shipping is calculated automatically at the checkout, depending on your location and the products ordered. On occasion, the shipping price may be incorrect due to your location or the product being oversized in dimension or weight. Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible with our shipping prices, from time to time they might be inaccurate. We will not know until we process your order if this is the case, we will contact you if this is the case and provide you with the option of cancelling or payment of the difference.


Due to the value of the products sold we only deliver to the verified address of any payment method OR any address if paid for by bank transfer. Thanks to scammers, we simply do not take the risk and any order which does not have a verified address will be cancelled.


Any customer with an order which has been damaged in transit must notify Regal Autosport immediately and within 14 calendar days of shipping. If this is not done, the shipping insurance cannot be used, and you will not be compensated. 


United Kingdom Mainland


Within the United Kingdom Mainland, we use DPD Local. This service is a next working day service. For orders which are in-stock and make the 2PM same-day shipping cut-off, they will be delivered the following working day. A working day is Monday - Friday only.


Tracking is automatically sent to your email address or mobile address or both once the order has been processed for shipping. You will then typically receive a 1-hour delivery window on the day.


United Kingdom Non-Mainland 

Within the United Kingdom Non-Mainland, we use DPD Local. This service is a next working day or 2 working day service. For orders which are in-stock and make the 2PM same-day shipping cut-off, they will be delivered the following working day or the second working day. A working day is Monday - Friday only. 


Europe 

For Europe, we use DHL. Your delivery location will determine the transit time. Orders in-stock and placed before 2PM will ship the same working day. A working day is Monday - Friday only.
